❓ What happens when I register my dog?
- You create an account and submit your dog’s details (name, photo, etc.).
- Our team reviews and approves the registration.
- Once approved, you can download a certificate and wallet card.
- You also get a QR code and verification link to share with businesses or landlords.
❓ What does the verification page show?
The verification page displays:
- Your dog’s name
- Handler’s name (if you choose to make it public)
- Dog photo (if uploaded and public)
- Status: Approved, Pending, or Expired
❓ Can a business require me to show this?
No. Under the ADA, businesses may only ask:
- Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability?
- What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?
They cannot legally require documentation.
This registry is meant as a convenience tool.
❓ What happens if my membership expires?
- Your membership controls access to the dashboard and certificate downloads.
- If your membership lapses, your dog’s status may be marked Expired until you renew.
- You can always re-activate by renewing your membership.
❓ Can landlords charge pet deposits or fees for service dogs?
No. Under the Fair Housing Act (FHA), landlords must make reasonable accommodations for service animals.
They cannot charge pet fees or apply breed/size restrictions.
❓ Do emotional support animals (ESAs) qualify?
No. Under current federal law:
- Service dogs are trained to perform tasks directly related to a person’s disability → protected under ADA.
- Emotional support animals (ESAs) are not covered by the ADA, though some housing protections may apply under the FHA.

Access to certificates and dashboard will remain active until the end of your billing period.
